NARS blushes revisited! #3 - Amour

this series is just for better pics&swatches. my opinion about the blushes stays the same, take a look at older posts.

NARS blushes contain 4.5 - 4.8g each for the powder blushes, and 5.5g each for the cream blushes.
they cost 29€/19.50£/26$.

Amour is a matte light brick red. a muted red with brown/peach fraction but also some pink in it. it applies to a deep pinkish blush on my skin. some people say it's just like Orgasm but without the shimmer, but i have to disagree. you can't compare them that way. because the gold shimmer makes Orgasm what it is, without it, O. would be much more pink than Amour, and with it, O. is a lot more transparent.
again, the matte texture is great, especially for oily skins or if you have large pores. the fine silky powder makes your skin look smooth and even.
apply with a very light hand and a fluffy brush to get a natural result, this blush is highly pigmented. i think this shade get's too little attention while it is a beautiful colour that can be worn all year long and looks great especially with subtle looks.

  1. Hi, I just started following you today. I love how accurate your swatches are. I have this blush, too. It looks really good on girls with pale skin like us!

  2. I started considering this blush recently. It is bolder than my usual blush (Tonga!), but I think I could make it work if I applied it lightly enough. Hmmm...
