Giorgio Armani Sheer Blush #2

i'm such a blush-junkie these days! blushes - brushes - eyeshadows. that's everything to me (make-up-wise, ;) ). and so i fell for this beauty, the Giorgio Armani Sheer Blush #2.
i couldn't see it in real live before, but as i wanted a soft peach blush to accompany my Sheer Blush #10, which is rather pinky, i didn't doubt my choice.
i ordered it on douglas.de, the only accessible GA-retailer for me. with some voucher codes, i could get a few goodies and 5€ less, too (use the code 155DEDM).
  • KLP589 for a Kiehl's deluxe sample set with Ultra Facial Moisturizer (30ml) + Creme De Corps (30ml)
  • HRM456 for a Helena Rubinstein set with miniature lipstick and biphase eye make up remover
  • mobil548 for a Tommy Hilfiger Woman rollerball edp 7ml
this blush contains 6g and costs 41.95€. it's housing in an elegant matte black case with a full size mirror and doesn't come with an applicator. the packaging is quite sturdy and high quality.
the colour of the blusher itself is a light peachy pink, it's lighter and less peachy but more pastell-y than i have expected. it reminds me of swatches i've seen of NARS Sex Appeal blush which i don't own. it has some crystal sparkle and shimmer bits in it, but applies as a satin finish with a hint of a dewy sheen. this shade is a bit more powdery than the other Armani blush i own.
it's finely milled and applies evenly. the light colour prevents me on getting too much or look overdone with it, since it's a very subtle peachy pink wash. the colour develops into a more peachy glow on my cheeks after some time, i don't experience colour-fading with this. it's a good everyday/every look/every occasion shade, but may not work for very deep skin tones, though, and could get too chalky and greyish on NC40+ girls.

all in all i prefer the Sheer Blush #10 yet, i'm still waiting to be wowed by this shade.

this is how it looks applied:

comparison swatches:
Laura Mercier Orange Blossom - Giorgio Armani #2 - Essence eyeshadow Go All Girlie - Guerlain Caresse De L'Aube
Laura Mercier Orange Blossom - Giorgio Armani #2 - Essence eyeshadow Go All Girlie - Guerlain Caresse De L'Aube (mixed together)
it's most similar to the eyeshadow by Essence (which i have also showed you some days ago) but is slightly peachier and less shimmery.

do you think that i still "need" NARS Sex Appeal when i have this one here?

I'm very very into blushes lately too, and my latest blush acquisition is GA Sheer Blush #2 Pink as well! Loving it to death, haha...

It looks really pretty and natural on you!
