Givenchy Le Prisme Blush in Aficionado Peach.

today i want to show you my most recent blush-purchase, it's the Givenchy Le Prisme Blush in Aficionado Peach. i was very impressed with Givenchy by using their Blooming Fuchsias blusher. it has an excellent quality of the pigment, the finish it gives is bright but still sheer and natural, although it's matte it's still luminous and makes my skin look good.
of course i wanted some more colours with the same effect, and since Blooming Fuchsias is a pink tone, i bought Aficionado Peach to cover up the peachy colour scheme.
this shade is in the permanent range and costs 39.95€ for 7g of product.

i ordered it on douglas.de and with some codes i could get a few goodies:

258DEDV - 5€ off (order 30€+)
SMA852 - Shiseido The Perfect Mascara sample - order 39€+
TRD365 - True Religion Drifter miniature (7ml) - order 39€+
RRL253 - Orlane Vivifying Cleansing Care (50ml) - order 39€+
i also got a full size CK One Body Wash with another code that is expired

i may sound repetitive, but i really like how much detail is put into the smart clap&slide packaging. even the little brush that comes in the bottom drawer has a protective lid that folds up when you slide open the bottom part. the brush is very soft but too thin to be useful.

the powder itself contains 4 squares with different shades of peach:
  • a pale pink with peach undertones
  • a muted peachy coral
  • a true peach
  • an orange peach

swatched clockwise, beginning with upper left shade. then all shades mixed together swatched heavily & blended out.

the shades mix together to a beautiful bright peach which leans coral and is free of shimmer. it has a satin and luminous finish still. it's really finely milled and has a medium pigmentation. it applies evenly and creates a sheer veil of pinky peach colour on my cheeks. it makes my skin appear smooth and refined just like my other Givenchy blush does (and Cargo and NARS, but not as much as Guerlain). it applies and blends out evenly and lasts all day without oxidizing or fading.
such natural, sheer looks are my favourite these days. the overall flattering colour melts into my skin seamlessly. plus, this blusher has a beautiful floral scent which makes it even more a please to use.
the Blooming Fuchsias still remains my fave since its effect is even prettier, but this one is also fabulous.

without blush - with Givenchy Aficionado Peach

comparison

Guerlain Caresse de l'Aube - Givenchy Aficionado Peach - MAC Melba
Guerlain Caresse de l'Aube - Givenchy Aficionado Peach - MAC Melba
it's in the same colour family like MAC Melba, but it's softer and a bit lighter.
